Russia's war against Ukraine subject of lecture at WSU Law

Wayne State University Law School will present a lecture on “Holding Russia Accountable for International Crimes in Ukraine” Wednesday, November 9, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m.in the Spencer M. Partrich Auditorium.

What mechanisms are available to hold Russia and individual Russians accountable for international crimes committed in Ukraine?

Prof. David Scheffer of Northwestern Law School will address this question at the gathering.

Scheffer was the first U.S. Ambassador at Large for War Crimes and who represented the United States at the Rome Conference that finalized the treaty creating the International Criminal Court.

The event is being presented by the Program for International Legal Studies.
